man-whore etiquette
"You know what your problem is, Joe?" asked a friend.
"I'm all ears."
"You treat women better than a boyfriend or hubby would."
"That's a problem?" I asked in return.
"Yes it is." The friend asserted with apparent authority.
"You'll have to explain that to me then."
I was truly curious to understand the alleged problem.

Apparently, a gentleman who is only interested in having a casual romp should not be so courteous, thoughtful or even considerate towards the lady to whom he turns his attention. Apparently, being courteous gives the lady the wrong impression. Apparently, being thoughtful gives her false hope. Apparently, showing consideration for her needs and comfort is akin to making empty promises.
The thing of it is, I've always thought that making a lady feel special should be a man-whore's forte. After all, I don't have pick-up lines to offer. Only courtesy, thoughtfulness and the utmost respect for a lady's wishes and fancies. A lady's wish is a man-whore's command; it's all part of that unwritten set of rules known as man-whore etiquette.
There are also other rules that form part of the man-whore etiquette, which is meant for a lady to understand, appreciate and abide by. Rules exist to protect people, to define roles and responsibilities, to maintain order and decorum.
Rules can also be a bit of a bore; but I reckon I make up for it with lots of pampering.

"When you do that thing you do, the lady gets misled."
"I disagree; I'm upfront with all the ladies." I insisted.
"That may be true, but making a lady feel special is wrong."
"Huh?" The last bit perplexed me.
"You shouldn't pamper a person when you just want a shag."
"So, you're saying it's wrong for me to pamper the lady?"
"Absolutely." The friend seemed intent on laying down some new law.
"Right..."
I thought then it would be a good idea to change the topic immediately.
cheers
